About The Position
At Flaman, we don’t just sell equipment, we keep farmers moving, trailers hauling, and projects rolling. None of that happens without a well-run yard. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Yard Support team member who is mechanically inclined, thrives outdoors, and doesn’t mind getting a little dirt on their boots. This role is about more than stacking, loading, or parking equipment, it’s about using your hands-on skills to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently behind the scenes.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around engines, trailers, and agricultural implements.
- Proven experience operating equipment; forklift experience is a must.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work comfortably outdoors in all seasons.
- Positive approach to problem-solving and willingness to help out wherever the team needs it most.
Nice To Haves
- Class 3 license is a significant asset.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other machinery to move inventory and assist customers.
- Use mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot basic equipment issues or assist with light assembly and maintenance.
- Maintain a tidy, organized yard so the right equipment is always ready for the next project.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking to keep the flow consistent.
- Identify and address potential hazards to ensure safety.
