About The Position

At Flaman, the Yard Support team member plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the yard, which is essential for keeping farmers moving, trailers hauling, and projects rolling. This hands-on role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working outdoors and is comfortable with physical tasks. It involves more than just moving equipment; it's about utilizing practical skills to manage inventory and support overall operations behind the scenes.

Requirements

• Hands-on Skill: You are mechanically inclined and comfortable working around engines, trailers, and agricultural implements.
• Machinery Experience: Proven experience operating equipment—forklift experience is a must.
• Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required.
• Physical Stamina: The ability to lift heavy objects and work comfortably outdoors in all seasons.
• Team-First Attitude: A positive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to help out wherever the team needs it most.

Nice To Haves

• A Class 3 license is a significant asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate with Precision: Run forklifts, skid steers, and other machinery to move inventory and assist customers.
• Mechanical Support: Use your mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot basic equipment issues or assist with light assembly and maintenance.
• Keep it Moving: Maintain a tidy, organized yard so the right equipment is always ready for the next project.
• Logistics: Jump in to help with shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking to keep the flow consistent.
