About The Position
National Star Services, a facility management company with 27 years of nationwide service, is seeking a Yard Spotter Operator in Joliet, IL. This role involves the safe movement and positioning of trailers within the yard and dock areas using a yard tractor. Responsibilities include spotting trailers, transporting empty trailers, and maintaining yard organization.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be available to start as soon as possible.
- Must have and wear work boots as part of the required personal protective equipment.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- No CDL Required
Responsibilities
- Moving and positioning trailers safely throughout the yard and dock areas using a yard tractor.
- Spotting trailers.
- Transporting empty trailers.
- Keeping the yard organized.
