About The Position

The Yard Person builds loads for deliveries and maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard. The role involves loading and unloading lumber and/or building supplies and operating a forklift. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
• Operate a forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
