About The Position

84 Lumber is hiring a Yard Person to build loads for delivery and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard. The role includes loading and unloading lumber and other building supplies, operating a forklift, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires periodically lifting up to 80 pounds and communicating and understanding simple written instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and other building supplies.
• Operate a forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
