About The Position

84 Lumber is hiring a Yard Person to build loads for deliveries and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard. The role includes loading and unloading lumber and other building supplies and operating a forklift. Other duties may be assigned. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to understand and communicate simple written information, and periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
• Operate a forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
