About The Position
84 Lumber is hiring a Yard Person to build loads for deliveries and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard. The role also involves loading and unloading lumber and other building supplies and operating a forklift. Other duties may be assigned. 84 Lumber is a privately held supplier of building materials, manufactured components, and services for residential and commercial construction. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information one-on-one.
- Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Build loads for deliveries.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
- Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
- Operate a forklift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
