About The Position

Highway Specialties is an established and growing Northwest leader in traffic control safety equipment sales and rentals. As the Yard Manager, you will maintain order and organization of the yard facility while overseeing the maintenance and repairs of all rolling stock equipment.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Clean driving record and ability to be insured
Have reliable transportation to and from work

Responsibilities

Ensures that all equipment in need of repair is repaired in a timely manner.
Coordinates customer equipment repair by gathering manufacturer quotes, Creating customer quotes, and order acceptance through to completion.
Provides equipment troubleshooting via phone, in yard, and on site with travel as needed.
Evaluates rolling stock regularly for safety concerns, repair, or replacement.
Maintains clean and organized yard, shop, parts, and tool inventory.
Provides customers the proper operating instructions for the equipment being rented.
Performs basic maintenance and repairs of all rolling stock equipment.
Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
Provides quick action on time-sensitive issues.
Manages inventory counts.
Fully understands the operations of all equipment that Highway Specialties rents and or sells.
Assists customers picking up orders and returning products.
Maintains customer relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
