Day Shift Yard Loader Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile materials safely and efficiently. It involves performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance, loading trucks, and feeding plant equipment in alignment with production needs. The position also requires maintaining clean and organized work areas, including stockpiles and haul roads, and adhering to all safety procedures while communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Strong awareness of surroundings with commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Dependable work ethic with attention to detail and quality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and operational demands
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile materials safely and efficiently
