About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile materials throughout the yard, performing daily equipment inspections, and basic preventative maintenance. The operator will maintain consistent material flow to support plant and customer needs, and must follow all safety procedures, site rules, and operational guidelines. Effective communication with team members is essential for efficient and accurate operations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and operational excellence
• Dependable and motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills and willingness to follow instructions
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work demands
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile materials throughout the yard
• Perform daily equipment inspections and complete basic preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain consistent material flow to support plant and customer needs
