About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Yard Laborer for their Trench Safety Division. This role involves working outdoors to construct trench, MAP boxes, and hydraulic shoring by hand. Responsibilities include loading and unloading shoring using a sit-down forklift, performing equipment inventory, pressure washing equipment, occasional painting, organizing inventory, and making minor repairs to hydraulic systems. The position emphasizes a safety-focused mindset, teamwork, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Constructing trench, MAP boxes, and hydraulic shoring by hand.
• Loading and unloading shoring on a sit-down forklift for customers and drivers, ensuring proper load and trailer security.
• Regularly performing inventory on equipment.
• Pressure washing equipment and returning it to stock.
• Occasional painting.
• Organizing inventory and maintaining a clean work area.
• Assembling MAP Boxes and performing minor repairs on hydraulic systems.
• Working with the team to safely and efficiently fill orders.
