Yard Laborer - Trench Safety
About The Position
Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Yard Laborer for their Trench Safety Division. This role involves working outdoors with team members to construct trench, MAP boxes, and hydraulic shoring by hand. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading shoring on a sit-down forklift for customers and drivers, ensuring proper load and trailer security. Regular inventory checks and other assigned duties are also part of the role. Requirements
- Ability to work well on your own or within a team
- Working outdoors
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred
- Bilingual a plus
Responsibilities
- Load and unload equipment for customers and drivers ensuring the load and trailer are properly secured.
- Regularly perform an inventory on equipment.
- Construct trench, MAP boxes, and hydraulic shore materials to specific dimensions.
- Other various duties as assigned.
