About The Position
C&S Waste Solutions of Lassen County, LLC, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join our team in Susanville, CA! The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. The wage will start at $19.00 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $19-$21 per hour. Requirements
- At least 1 year of work experience. Preferably in a laborer type role
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- The ability to stand outside throughout a 8 hr shift
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability and will to work in all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience running equipment is a plus (Forklift, skid steer)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for tasks and duties at the Material Recovery Facility (recycling facility operating machinery)
- Yard and facility maintenance including debris and oil spot clean up
- Manual labor including landscaping and fence line maintenance
- Pressure washing carts
- Maintaining storage organization and inventory of carts
- Picking up and sweeping wind-blown trash
- Various utility tasks as needed
