About The Position
Our Flynn Canada Ltd Edmonton location is looking for an experienced Yard Laborer to join our team for temporary 6-10 months!
Requirements
- Drivers license class 5/ Clean Abstract
- Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently
- Trained in safe rigging practice
- Trained in load securement
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Weight handling – Up to 100lbs (help when needed)
- Work conditions and physical capabilities – tight deadlines, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasks and changing weather condition all seasons.
- Work on Shop/ Field Operation environment
Nice To Haves
- Forklift, Zoom Boom, Bobcat, Overhead Crane, Rigging, Aerial Work Platform and Fall Protection certificates considered and asset
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift
- Yard maintenance
- Daily maintenance task- equipment
- Follow safety procedures
- Enter and complete daily safety paperwork (FLRA, inspection book)
- Loading / Unloading trucks / Vans materials and equipment
- Work closely with shipping / Receiving
- Other duties as assigned
