About The Position
Cascade Disposal, a Waste Connections company is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join the team in Bend, Oregon. This is a stable, year-round, full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must pass DOT drug screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record screening.
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean driving record.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
- Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities
- Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.
- Washing, repairing, and assembling trash bins and containers.
- Traffic management.
- Perform yard work including cutting weeds.
- Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
- Working outside in all weather conditions.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Operates skid steer and forklift.
