About The Position

The Yard Jockey loads straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during the loading process. The role assists with pallet building and truck unloading to maintain the organization of pallets and shells. The Yard Jockey ensures hand trucks and tow motors are charged and returned to their designated places for drivers, and that all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on the trailer before leaving the dock. The position also maintains general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with product replenishment in the warehouse. Other duties may be assigned. Candidates must be open to day shifts, night shifts, and weekend work.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL permit through Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to regularly lift products weighing 25 to 50 pounds and lift up to 170 pounds.
• Must be open to day shifts, night shifts, and weekend work.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
