Requirements

Must have a Class A License or a current Class A permit
Ability to lift and carry 65 lbs.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Solid mechanical skills
Computer knowledge is essential
Ability to work well with people
Excellent communication skills
Multi-tasked Individual
Ability to work independently
Class A Driver’s License Permit is Required

Responsibilities

Safely load trucks and hostler trailers.
Learn complex systems and concepts.
Work around cleaning chemicals.
Frequently check and refuel refer units in a timely manner throughout the shift.
Uphold highest quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
Perform any duties necessary to support the team.
Maintain documentation associated with operations.
Communicate clearly with incoming drivers from our outside suppliers.
Uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
Maintain the yard goat during day-to-day functions.
Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
Set-up oncoming shift for successful run.
Complete hourly trailer checks for fuel, refer faults, ensure refrigerators are running and rear doors are closed when in use.
Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift tailgate meetings and by meeting with off-going Line Technician.
Maintain food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the yard area in a sanitary manner.
Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
Perform coverage in this position as needed.
