About The Position

Terminal Consolidation Company, a subsidiary of U.S. Multimodal Group (USMMG), is seeking an experienced Yard Hostler for its Kansas City operations team. This role is crucial for safely and efficiently positioning chassis and moving tanks and containers within the staging area, working closely with crane operators. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, communicate effectively with the team, and contribute to maintaining production flow throughout the yard. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with standard daily hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Previous hostling experience required
• Strong attention to surroundings and safety awareness
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• English (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in intermodal or container yard operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Position chassis for loading and unloading operations
• Move tanks and containers in and out of staging areas
• Coordinate with crane operators and yard personnel
• Maintain safe yard movement and traffic flow
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
