About The Position

Up-North Plastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Yard Hopper at its Cottage Grove, MN location. The Yard Hopper works on a 7AM-3PM Mon-Fri Schedule. A successful candidate must be able to operate a Yard Jockey Truck, a Forklift, inventory control software, and RF scanners.
STARTING PAY OF $19.00-$22.00

Requirements

• At least one year of experience driving commercial trucks or yard mules.
• A current US Driver's license (CDL not required).
• The ability to handle trailers quickly in tight spaces.
• The ability to operate forklifts.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• relocating, docking, and transporting trailers within our manufacturing facility
• unloading materials from trailers
• inventorying materials
• picking materials
• keeping up with a fast paced production environment while accurately recording information
• This position uses propane, sit-down forklifts to help load and unload trailers as well as a Yard Jockey to move around trailers.
• The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
