About The Position
We are currently looking for a responsible, dependable, and safe Plant Yard Hand at the Rolling Mix Concrete West Plant. This position is primarily responsible for basic maintenance, support, and labour at the plant facility.
Requirements
- Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
- General construction experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform tasks physical in nature on a consistent basis.
- Basic mechanical ability to perform maintenance repairs.
- Must be able to be clean shaven (mask fit is required for employment).
Nice To Haves
- CSTS Certification is preferred.
- WHIMIS training is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labour throughout the plant.
- Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment.
- Assist Plant Manager with needed tasks and operations.
- Dump ice and other materials into concrete mixtures.
- General housekeeping and yard work.
- Operation of skidsteers and other small equipment.
- Participate in and adhere to all safety protocols, polices, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
