About The Position

Prepare, inspect, and clean inside and outside of all new and used farm equipment. This role involves loading and unloading equipment, staging equipment within the Altorfer Ag Products lot, performing light repairs and maintenance, and conducting pre-delivery inspections of machinery. The Yard Facilitator is responsible for tracking all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard, scanning equipment during delivery and return processes, and maintaining associated paperwork. Additionally, this position ensures the upkeep of the yard, maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of farm equipment required.
• Must be able to operate and control the pressure washing equipment.
• Basic forklift experience is required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and complete duties in a safe, fast paced manner.
• Basic computer skills are needed especially with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Nice To Haves

• Ag machinery operation experience preferred.
• Previous mechanical and electrical experience preferred.
