About The Position

Prepare, inspect, and clean inside and outside of all new and used farm equipment. This role involves loading and unloading equipment, staging equipment within the Altorfer Ag Products lot, performing light repairs, maintenance, and pre-delivery of machinery. The position also requires tracking all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard, scanning equipment during delivery and return processes, and maintaining associated paperwork. A key responsibility is maintaining the upkeep of the yard to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of farm equipment required.
• Must be able to operate and control the pressure washing equipment.
• Basic forklift experience is required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and complete duties in a safe, fast paced manner.
• Basic computer skills are need especially with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Nice To Haves

• Ag machinery operation experience preferred.
• Previous mechanical and electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard.
• Scan all equipment during delivery and return processes as well as maintaining associated paperwork.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the yard, making sure it’s a safe environment at all times for employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
