Requirements

  • 12 Months Experience within the Last 18 Months at the same employer (list on application or resume).
  • MVR requirements: Must have a current valid state issued driver’s license.
  • No DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months.
  • Must be able to drive 18 Wheelers on the yard.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing.
  • Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • Using all safety devices such as dock locks/wheel chocks/jack stands and salvo locks.
  • Ensuring trailers are sealed.
  • Performing routine temperature checks of trailers.
  • Following all safety rules.
  • Working well with others.
