Yard Driver

About The Position
Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is looking to add a Yard Driver to their team. The Yard Driver will be responsible for moving trucks and trailers in the facility, approximately 40 moves a day. Previous experience with yard driving and backing in vans would be highly preferred. During down time will operate forklifts, drive/move vans, and help on dock as needed.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Yard Mule experience required
- Valid DL, no CDL required
- Computer skills required
- Forklift skills required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with yard driving and backing in vans would be highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Driving yard mules to move vans around the facility
- Move trucks and vans in the facility
- Operating scanners and other dock processing equipment
- Other duties as needed while not moving trucks such as operating forklifts and helping with waste processing
