About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Yard Driver to join our team in Cinnaminson, NJ. This role involves driving a gas- or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to move trailers and containers within a yard setting, not over the road. The position requires opening and closing trailer doors, updating moves using company software, and collaborating with other drivers for efficiency. Daily inspections to ensure truck safety are also a key responsibility. Drivers will be tested on and will be using a yard truck (Ottawa). This role is 0% touch freight.

Requirements

Valid Class A driver’s license
DOT MEDICAL Required
Clean driving record
No speeding 15 over
No DUI or criminal history
Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience
Must complete full application process
Must pass Yard test
You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Overtime is mandatory during peak season (OCT-JAN)

Responsibilities

Drive a gas- or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to move trailers and containers from door to door.
Move trailers from door to door by using a company software program.
Drives trailers and containers from door to door in a yard setting, not over the road driving.
Opening and closing trailer doors when making moves.
Updating moves made throughout the shift by using a company software program.
Work with other drivers to complete moves in the most efficient manner possible.
Conducts daily inspections to ensure trucks safety.
Drivers will do 30 plus or minus moves per day within the yard.
