About The Position

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Requirements

• Valid State Driver's license and pass MVR Qualification.
• 6 Months Experience operating an 18-Wheeler/Shag Truck with a Trailer.
• Full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.
• May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
• Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening for External.
• No DUI/DWI Conviction within past 12 months.
• Proficiency in reading and writing.
• Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Composite toe preferred for boots.

Responsibilities

• Operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Moving around the work area at a fast pace and bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 40 pounds.
• Cleaning the lot and picking up trash throughout the shift and during downtime.
• Standing, walking, and climbing up and down from yard shuttle vehicles up to 100% of the time.
• Following all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
