Seeking an experienced Yard Driver Manager to oversee driver operations for a well-known distribution center in Chambersburg, PA. Requirements
- CDL-A or Yard Driver experience.
- Management experience.
- Clean Driver’s License.
- Criminal background check and drug screen required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the activities of yard jockeys on all shifts for an operation that runs 24/7.
- Ensure full compliance with all safety and maintenance standards.
- Maintain driver schedules and timecards.
- Make sure all drivers are following yard procedures.
- Coordinate driver training.
- Review safety and productivity information and adjust accordingly.
- Evaluate, develop, and supervise all yard drivers.
- Safely maneuver and back semi-trailers as a full shift driver.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
