About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Driver / Hostler II to move tractors and trailers within our yard. This position is responsible for safely positioning equipment at dock doors, staging trailers, and supporting daily yard operations. Requirements
- Valid Class A License
- 24 Months Experience as a yard driver
- Must be at least 23 years old
Responsibilities
- Move tractors and trailers within the yard to designated dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations
- Perform yard checks to ensure trailers are properly positioned and secured
- Conduct pre- and post-move inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
- Communicate with warehouse and operations staff to prioritize trailer moves
- Maintain accurate yard organization and assist with overall yard flow
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and DOT regulations
- Keep yard areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards
