About The Position

The Yard Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of trailers in and out of the Nashville Hub. This role ensures efficient operations by coordinating trailer movements, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with drivers and warehouse staff. The Yard Coordinator plays a crucial part in the daily logistics of the hub.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of yard operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work the specified shift: Sunday through Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a yard coordinator or similar role.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of trailers within the yard.
• Ensure trailers are positioned correctly for loading and unloading.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and inventory.
• Communicate with drivers regarding trailer assignments and schedules.
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure timely trailer swaps.
• Monitor yard for safety and security.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to management.
