About The Position

Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking customer-oriented, motivated individuals to join their professional team as a Yard Coordinator. This is a temporary, 4-month position. Applicants must be currently residing in Canada and legally entitled to work. Requirements

Valid Class G driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable with working outdoors year-round.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.

Nice To Haves

Forklift license or experience operating forklifts is an asset.
Mechanical aptitude and/or previous experience operating equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Wash/Clean pump and power equipment when it’s returned.
Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard and wash bay area.
Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment.
Operate heavy-duty forklift.
Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.
Assist with inventory management.
Deliver small equipment and tools if needed.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
