Requirements

  • Valid Class G/5 driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with working outdoors year-round.
  • Available and willing to work overtime when required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
  • Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.
  • Comfortable with computers/technology (for filling out inspections, inventory management, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift license or experience operating forklifts and/or other construction equipment is a definite asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude and/or previous experience operating equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, dry, and detail equipment using pressure washers, vacuums, and cleaning agents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard and wash bay area.
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment.
  • Operate forklift and other construction equipment.
  • Check equipment for damage when returned to the yard, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.
  • Follow all health and safety policies.
  • Assist with fueling, tire storage, or moving equipment as needed.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
