About The Position

CB Mining is seeking a hard-working Yard Attendant to prepare equipment for customers and help ensure its quality. The role requires completing physical tasks, maintaining customer satisfaction, and communicating issues or questions to management and peers. The position is based in an industrial yard environment and may involve overtime and occasional weekend call-ins.

CB Mining is an independent, family-owned company founded in 2013 and headquartered in Washington, Pennsylvania. It provides product support and services for underground mining, including equipment rebuilds, fabrication, technical support, and inventory services.

Requirements

• Able to withstand workplace environmental conditions, including noise, heat, cold, and atmospheric exposures.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Effective customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Graduate of a technical school or military school, or relevant work experience acceptable to the company.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of operating heavy equipment, loading and unloading tractor-trailers, and transporting heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate shipping and receiving paperwork; photograph and document incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Prepare equipment to customer specifications before shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard environment.
• Work productively in an industrial environment with significant work conditions.
• Operate forklifts and rental equipment to load and unload parts and equipment.
• Assist with maintaining equipment used in the CB Mining yard.
• Assist in coordinating trucking for outgoing equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
