About The Position

GCT Chauffeured Services is a rapidly growing provider of chauffeured transportation, including contract shuttle services, minibuses, and motor coaches for group transportation. The company is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Yard Attendant to maintain its company-owned fleet of shuttles and buses. The role helps ensure that vehicles are fueled, deep-cleaned, and safety-inspected before and after each route so operations run smoothly, safely, and on time.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.
Flexibility to work evening, night, weekend, or early morning shifts when the fleet is parked.

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
A sharp eye for cleanliness and vehicle safety defects.
Ability to safely move and service multiple vehicles under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with drivers and mechanics.

Responsibilities

Refuel diesel, gasoline, or alternative-fuel buses and shuttles to capacity.
Check and replenish engine oil, windshield washer fluid, coolant, and DEF.
Record fuel data, mileage, and vehicle numbers accurately in the tracking system.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum vehicle interiors and sanitize passenger seats, handrails, and driver cabins.
Empty interior trash bins and remove abandoned items daily.
Clean vehicle exteriors using automated bus wash equipment or power washers.
Clean interior and exterior windows and mirrors to support driver visibility.
Conduct basic visual safety inspections of tires, lights, turn signals, and wiper blades.
Document and promptly report mechanical issues, body damage, and safety hazards to maintenance.
Safely park, stage, and organize vehicles within the lot to optimize space and dispatch.
