About The Position

Join our team at the Innisfail Home Centre as a part-time Yard Attendant. This role is ideal for individuals dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, who are detail-oriented, and possess a hands-on approach. The position involves approximately 24-36 hours per week, with eligibility for benefits after 3 months. Availability is required for weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset
• Experience running a forklift is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner
• Keep yard and warehouse free of obstructions, debris, and snow and stack pallets as required
• Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts
• Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery
• Stock, face and rotate inventory following the First In, First Out (FIFO) process
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
