About The Position

The Lacombe Food Store is looking for a Food Cashier to join their dynamic team. This part-time position involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role requires availability on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. The position is benefit-eligible after 3 months of employment.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
• Must have AB Health coverage if coming from out of province

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to customer questions
• Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
• Bag and assist with carrying out purchases
• Complete cash-up procedures
• Assist in setting up and maintaining merchandise displays
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
