About The Position

Milton Rents, a division of Milton CAT, is hiring a Wash Bay/Yard Attendant at its Dansville, New York location. The role supports customers with loading and unloading small equipment and ensures equipment is clean before servicing. The position also involves checking and servicing small equipment as directed by the Shop Manager and maintaining clean, orderly wash bay and small equipment areas.

The posted pay range is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. A background check and drug test are required as part of the pre-employment process. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of safe equipment operation, such as forklift operation; training on other equipment is provided.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Load customer and company vehicles with equipment according to the paperwork.
• Unload returning equipment from customer vehicles and verify that the return is complete.
• Review condition reports to check that equipment has not been damaged and is in acceptable return condition.
• Check and record usage on all returning blades.
• Advise the front counter of return status.
• Clean small and large equipment and place it in the proper location for servicing.
• Check and service small equipment as directed by the Shop Manager.
• Keep the wash bay and small equipment area clean and neat.
