About The Position

Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate for its Dallas branch. The role supports accurate order fulfillment and branch operations by pulling and preparing products, loading and unloading trailers, receiving and putting away inbound materials, and maintaining yard stock. Daily work is approximately 70% forklift operation and 30% manually sorting and staging materials. The position works both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, with a focus on safe material handling, an organized work environment, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 60 pounds, on occasion.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Sit-down forklift experience is highly desired.
• Experience with building materials.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare accurate product pulls for customers.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers and safely move materials.
• Manually sort and stage materials in the yard.
• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Receive inbound materials and put them away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pull, prepare, and package orders for shipment.
• Rotate yard stock and maintain it in a clean, organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with the team to support branch success and provide excellent customer service.
