About The Position

The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property. The role maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary to ensure equipment meets established specifications. The Yard Associate also inspects equipment before and after rental to document lost or damaged equipment. The work takes place in a challenging, fast-paced environment and is part of a safety-focused team. The role may provide opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service positions.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with customers in writing and verbally.
Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
General mechanical aptitude.
Safety-focused approach.
Ability to meet the physical demands of bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.
Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language) may be required depending on location needs.
