The Yard Associate, also referred to as a Porter / Yard Worker, operates in a challenging, fast-paced, and safety-focused environment with opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles. This role is responsible for the stationing and retrieving of equipment on the location's property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and performing necessary equipment servicing to ensure specifications are met. Additionally, the Yard Associate inspects equipment before and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
General mechanical aptitude
Safety-focus

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Responsibilities
