This is a full-time, day shift position with benefits. The role involves assisting customers and drivers, and preparing materials for shipment. Requirements

Basic math skills.
Ability to become Forklift Certified.
Ability to lift, carry, and move 80# to specified areas, in rough terrain, up/down steps.
Ability to withstand exposure to harsh weather conditions.
Attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate and work in a team.
Ability to adapt to in-house software.

Responsibilities

Ensure customer satisfaction while prioritizing safety.
Maintain a clean yard.
Unload vehicles and verify material accuracy.
Place material in the correct yard location.
Use all required safety equipment.
Assist other employees.
Load trucks for delivery.
Put away returns.
Inspect vehicles, including daily forklift inspections.
Properly arrange material on trucks.
Ensure proper storage of inventory.
Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliers.
Perform special assignments and projects as required by the Operations Manager.
Ensure asset preservation.
Adhere to all safety, fire regulations, and anti-theft procedures.
Promote a positive image of BIG C Lumber.
