We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Yard & Equipment Attendant to help maintain and organize our construction yard, tools, equipment, and materials. This position will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory, keeping accurate records of company tools and equipment, and ensuring items are properly stored, organized, and accounted for. This is an active, hands-on position. During slower periods or when yard responsibilities are completed, the Yard & Equipment Attendant will assist with general construction laborer duties and support field crews as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both independently in the yard and as part of a construction crew.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a CA driver’s license.
- Previous experience in a construction yard, warehouse, equipment yard, or construction environment preferred.
- Construction labor experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- The ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification a plus
- Skid Steer operator experience
- Backhoe operator experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction yard.
- Monitor company tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory counts.
- Check tools and equipment in and out and document their location and condition.
- Inspect tools and equipment for damage, wear, or missing parts and report issues to management.
- Organize tools, equipment, materials, and supplies for easy access.
- Assist with receiving, loading, unloading, and organizing deliveries.
- Will assist with construction duties as needed
- Follow company safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
