About The Position

Boat House Yachts & Brokerage is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Yacht Closing & Funding Coordinator to support the successful completion of yacht and brokerage transactions. This position serves as the operational hub between yacht brokers, lenders, customers, title agencies, and internal departments to ensure every transaction is funded, documented, reconciled, and closed accurately and on time. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in yacht brokerage closings, marine lending, title and settlement services, mortgage closings, dealership finance operations, or related transaction management roles. Marine industry experience is highly desirable but not required for candidates with strong settlement, funding, or closing backgrounds.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a closing, settlement, funding, title, escrow, finance, or transaction coordination role.
  • Strong financial reconciliation and documentation review skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Yacht brokerage closing experience.
  • Marine dealership finance or closing experience.
  • Mortgage settlement, title agency, escrow, or loan funding experience.
  • Knowledge of vessel documentation, registrations, UCC filings, or marine lending processes.
  • Experience coordinating wire transfers and financial disbursements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of yacht and brokerage transaction closings from contract execution through final funding and settlement.
  • Review contracts, lender packages, title documentation, registrations, payoff information, and closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with yacht brokers, lenders, customers, title agencies, documentation providers, and internal teams.
  • Prepare funding packages and ensure all conditions have been satisfied prior to disbursement.
  • Coordinate wire transfers, payoffs, lender funding requests, and transaction disbursements.
  • Reconcile transaction proceeds and ensure all funds balance before final settlement.
  • Maintain complete and compliant transaction files.
  • Track closing timelines and proactively resolve documentation or funding issues.
  • Support reporting, auditing, and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the transaction process.
