About The Position

Xtreme Director Seasonal Position Gain valuable experience, be a positive role model, and give back to the community while having fun this summer. Pay r ange: $ 30.85 - $36.87 ( A-2 ) Location: The T own of Cohasset is seeking a seasonal X treme D irector for the S ummer Xtreme P rogram with the R ecreation D epartment. This position reports to the Recreation Director. Description of r esponsibilities: The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 9-12 through the Xtreme program activities including games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips, all while ensuring a safe and supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the Recreation director and coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members. Requirements

• CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification.
• 2026 Summer Program Dates Monday, June 29th through Thursday, August 13 Seven one-week programs – Monday - Thursday
• Orientation Mandatory – week of June 22nd
• Deadline to Apply: March 15, 2026
