About The Position

Pay r ange: Starting at $ 22 .56 - $25.95 (PT -6) Location: The Town of Cohasset is seeking a H igh-five D irector for the Summer Program with the R ecreation Department . This position reports to the Recreation Director. Description of r esponsibilities: The H igh 5 D irector is responsible for a half-day (9 am-1 pm), 5-year-old program. (70 children, ten half-day staff). The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 5 through the Playground program . A ctivities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips while ensuring a safe, supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the director and coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members We are dedicated to building a diverse and committed team with a positive group dynamic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for the children in our program. Requirements

• CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification. CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.
• 2026 Summer Program Dates Monday, June 29 th through Friday, August 7
• Session 1 June 29 th through July 17 th – Mon-Fri
• Session 2 July 20 th through August 7 th – Mon-Fri
• Orientation Mandatory – week of June 22 nd
• Deadline to Apply: March 15, 2026
