About The Position

Pay r ange: Starting at $ 24 .63 - $28.37 (PT-7) Location: The t own of Cohasset is seeking a seasonal X treme A ssistant Director for the s ummer Xtreme p rogram with the R ecreation D epartment. This position reports to the X treme d irector and the R ecreation D irector. Description of r esponsibilities: The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 9-12 through the Xtreme program activities including games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips, all while ensuring a safe and supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the director and coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members. Requirements

  • CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification.
  • CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.
  • 202 6 Summer Program Dates: Monday, June 29th through Thursday, August 13
  • Monday through Thursday work schedule
  • Orientation Mandatory – week of June 22nd
  • Deadline to Apply : March 15, 2026
