About The Position

Xtreme Program Counselors Seasonal Position Gain valuable experience, be a positive role model, and give back to the community while having fun this summer. Pay r ange: $17.98 - $20.68 (PT-3) Location: The t own of Cohasset is seeking program counselor s for its summer recreation program . This position reports to the summer p rogram d irector and the r ecreation d irector. Program Counselors : Counselors for the full-day programs must be at least 17. Previous experience working with children is highly recommended. Description of r esponsibilities: The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 9-12 through the Xtreme program . Additional duties include supporting the Director and Coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members We are dedicated to building a diverse and committed team with a positive group dynamic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for the children in our program. Requirements : CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification.
