About The Position

Xtreme Administrator Seasonal Position Gain valuable experience, be a positive role model, and give back to the community while having fun this summer. Pay r ange: $20.53 - $23.58 (PT -5) Location: The T own of Cohasset is seeking a n X treme A dministrator for the summer program with the r ecreation d epartment. This position reports to the X treme D irector and Recreation D irector. Description of r esponsibilities: The Xtreme Administrator is responsible for logistical preparation of the program, creating summer documentation, and recordkeeping. The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 9-12 through the Playground program and aged 10-14 through the Xtreme Program activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips while ensuring a safe, supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the director and coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members We are dedicated to building a diverse and committed team with a positive group dynamic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for the children in our program. Requirements

  • CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification.
  • 2026 Summer Program Dates Monday, June 29th through Thursday, August 13
  • Orientation Mandatory – week of June 22nd
  • Deadline to Apply: March 16, 2026

Responsibilities
