About The Position

Sentar is seeking an XT-CS-CIO Task Lead in Linthicum Heights, MD. This position is pending contract award. The primary role is to serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for the XT-CS-CIO, providing overall management and oversight of all contractor activities, including subcontractors, to meet the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The lead will facilitate communication between the Government and the Contractor, utilize industry-best standards and proven methodologies for tracking and documenting requirements and activities for continuous monitoring and evaluation, and ensure all tasks are accomplished in accordance with the PWS. The lead is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the Contractor's performance and will assist the Government with financial and business processes of the PWS, excluding inherently governmental functions. The lead must have the authority to make decisions for the Contractor's organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, commit the prime contractor's organization, and proactively alert the Government to potential contractual, programmatic, and resource limitations issues.

Requirements

  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance eligible
  • IT leadership and accountability at least 5 years of experience
  • IT strategic planning at least 5 years of experience
  • IT workforce at least 5 years of experience
  • IT budgeting at least 5 years of experience
  • IT investment management at least 5 years of experience
  • Information Security and Privacy at least 5 years of experience
  • Digital Equity and Accessibility at least 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CMMC to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Oversee regular cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate emerging threats.
  • Coordinate internal and external security audits to validate the effectiveness of controls.
  • Coordinate tasks among different project teams and manage cross-team dependencies to prevent resource conflicts.
  • Lead crisis response efforts during major breaches, ensuring timely detection, containment, and recovery.
  • Oversee the selection and management of third-party security vendors and ensure acquisitions meet organizational security standards.
  • Drive a "security-first" culture by leading organization-wide cybersecurity education and training programs.
