About The Position

This role involves expertly positioning patients and selecting optimal exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing the need for retakes. The technologist will administer contrast media and medications in strict accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring rigorous adherence to radiation safety protocols (ALARA). Responsibilities also include executing seamless data management by verifying lead markers and patient history prior to PACS submission, maintaining a 100% accuracy rate for digital records. The technologist will monitor patient stability during complex procedures, identifying and reporting abnormal physiological responses to ensure immediate intervention when necessary. Additionally, they will oversee equipment integrity through routine performance checks and "lock-out/tag-out" safety procedures, while maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
