About The Position

Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as a Radiologic Technologist, producing accurate radiologic films that support timely physician diagnosis and exceptional patient care for pediatric patients. Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care to pediatric patients by preparing, positioning, and monitoring children throughout imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and clinical safety. Administer contrast media within scope of practice and closely monitor pediatric patient responses, promptly reporting abnormal findings to physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Follow radiation safety protocols and quality improvement standards to minimize exposure for children, maintain equipment performance, and ensure regulatory compliance. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely upload of pediatric diagnostic images to PACS and Electronic Health Records (EHR) to strengthen care coordination and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
